History

In 1997 a team from Charter Oil Company (USA) was incorporated into Marquard & Bahls AG. With the integration of this team, Matrix Marine Fuels was founded.

In 2008 Matrix Bharat—a joint venture with Bharat Petroleum of India—was set-up in order to offer bunker services in Singapore and India.

In 2009, Matrix Marine Holding (Hamburg, Germany) was created to further develop our business and international growth.

In 2010, Omanoil Matrix Marine Services LLC was established to provide bunker services in the port of Sohar (Oman).
